Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine did not receive a warning from the US regarding a Russian missile attack on Kyiv's power plants on Sunday evening. This incident has raised concerns about the US potentially withholding intelligence, which could pressure Ukraine into concessions with Moscow.
A spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that no alert was given before the strike, although a warning was issued for a subsequent attack later that night. This situation follows a series of recent tensions between Ukraine and the US, particularly regarding military support.
Watch for Ukraine's response to the lack of US warnings, as it may influence future military strategies and diplomatic relations. The ongoing tensions could lead to shifts in US support, impacting Ukraine's defense capabilities and its approach to negotiations with Russia.
