Rookie Yaxel Lendeborg scored 37 points, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 124-112 victory against the LA Clippers. This performance marks the highest point total by a Warriors rookie since Stephen Curry in 2010, as Lendeborg made six three-pointers and showcased his scoring ability while Curry and Draymond Green rested.
Lendeborg, who had previously averaged only 13.8 points in college, has quickly adapted to the NBA, stepping up as a key scoring option. Despite a brief attempt to chase a personal milestone late in the game, he acknowledged the importance of team play and vowed to avoid such distractions in the future.
