Waymo has launched a new discount program for its robotaxi services in collaboration with Visa. Customers in the San Francisco-Bay Area can receive a $2.85 credit on future rides when they use a Visa card for a Waymo trip within two hours of using public transit. This initiative aims to encourage the integration of robotaxis with public transportation.
The program builds on previous efforts by Waymo to promote transit use and includes dedicated staging spaces at Caltrain stations to enhance accessibility. The company plans to expand these initiatives to additional cities in the future.
