Reports of violence and harassment on Britain's rail services have risen significantly, with a 36% increase in recorded incidents over the past year, totaling 13,464 assaults. This marks the highest number since records began in 2004, excluding Northern Ireland. Harassment incidents alone surged by 52%, while assaults on rail workers also saw a 12% rise, highlighting ongoing safety concerns in the industry.
