A vehicle fire on the A31 near Ringwood has led to the closure of the road in both directions, affecting traffic between Picket Post and junction two of the M27. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service deployed 26 fire engines and additional support vehicles to combat the blaze, which has spread into nearby heathland after initially igniting in the central reservation.
