Bruno, a bomb-sniffing dog, is recovering at home after undergoing surgery for multiple injuries sustained during a police operation in September. The two-year-old Labrador broke two legs and fractured his jaw while responding to a suspicious package in Summit County, Utah. Authorities have released dash-cam footage of the incident, which shows Bruno leaping from an overpass and being airlifted for emergency treatment.
The Park City police department has expressed gratitude for the support received for Bruno and his handler. While the dog is on the mend, it remains uncertain whether he will return to active duty following his recovery.
Bruno's recovery is a testament to the resilience of working dogs. As he heals, keep an eye on updates from the Park City police department regarding his potential return to duty. The community's support may influence decisions on his future role in law enforcement.
