Jackdaw's operator, Adura, claims it could produce gas equivalent to up to 6% of the UK's peak demand, although critics argue the actual figure is closer to 2%. The decision now rests with Energy Secretary Miatta Fahnbulleh, with construction reportedly nearing completion, potentially allowing gas delivery by winter.
