Uefa is set to distribute £205 million to clubs for releasing players to participate in the Nations League and Euro qualifiers. The majority of this funding, £120 million, is earmarked for clubs with players in the Euro finals, while £89 million will be shared among those with players in the Nations League or Euro qualifiers. The first payment of £27 million will be made this week for the 2024-25 Nations League.
RB Leipzig is expected to receive the largest payout of £302,000 for releasing 16 players. Uefa's compensation scheme aims to support clubs financially while promoting international player participation.
