Two Latvian nationals, aged 36 and 32, were arrested at RAF Molesworth in Cambridgeshire after breaching a perimeter fence. The incident was reported by a Ministry of Defence Police patrol following the discovery of an abandoned vehicle on site.
The men were initially detained for trespassing and criminal damage, but later arrested under the National Security Act for entering a prohibited area. Counter-terror police are investigating the incident, which is not currently linked to other recent security events.
