Elon Musk and Palmer Luckey have been appointed to advisory roles in a new Pentagon initiative called 'Project Meridian,' which focuses on the future of warfare. This move has raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest, as both individuals are significant donors to Republican campaigns and have companies that benefit from federal defense contracts.
Watch for how Project Meridian evolves under Musk and Luckey's influence, especially regarding AI and defense tech. Their past roles and financial ties could shape military strategies and funding priorities, impacting future defense contracts and political dynamics.
