The new series 'Tall Tales and Murder' adapts the first novel of the Dublin Trilogy, showcasing a chaotic narrative filled with gangsters, a care home, and buried treasure. The show features Aidan Gillen and is penned by Stuart Carolan, known for 'Love/Hate.' While the series is packed with humor and drama, it has received mixed reviews regarding its coherence and depth.
The plot centers on Bridget, a care home worker, and her interactions with a mysterious patient that reignite an underworld feud. Despite its entertaining elements, critics note that the series struggles to maintain focus, leading to unresolved plotlines and a lack of character development as it progresses through its six episodes.
