Swindon Town's manager Ian Holloway has expressed deep concern over the team's performance, labeling himself a 'dead man walking' if results do not improve. The club is currently 12th in League Two, with three wins from eight matches and no victories in their last three outings. Holloway highlighted the pressing need for support as the team prepares to face Rochdale this weekend.
The manager is grappling with a significant injury crisis, with key players like captain Ollie Clarke and midfielder Ben Middlemass sidelined. Holloway noted that the ongoing injuries are placing excessive demands on the remaining squad members, complicating their chances of turning the season around.
Holloway's immediate focus should be on tactical adjustments to cope with the injury crisis. Fans should watch for potential youth player inclusions in the squad, as well as any last-minute signings that could provide much-needed depth ahead of the Rochdale match.
