Swansea City head coach Vitor Matos has encouraged his team to use their recent loss to West Ham United as motivation in their Championship promotion efforts. The defeat marked only their second league loss this season and ended a four-game winning streak. Matos emphasized that the team showed they can compete with top opponents despite the setback.
The match saw Divine Mukasa score the only goal, with Swansea missing key opportunities to equalize. Matos remains optimistic about the team's potential, stating that they need to continue pushing themselves against the league's best as they aim to maintain their competitive edge in the promotion race.
Swansea must harness the lessons from the West Ham defeat to refine their finishing and capitalize on scoring opportunities. Upcoming matches will be crucial; watch for adjustments in tactics and player performances as they seek to regain momentum in the promotion race.
