This follows the introduction of 'User Notes,' which lets listeners add personal notes to individual tracks. Editors will also utilize this feature on major playlists like RapCaviar and Today’s Top Hits, providing insights into their song selections.
The addition aims to foster a more social and personal experience on the platform, distinguishing Spotify from competitors like Apple Music and YouTube Music. This move comes as Spotify reports over 300 million subscribers and 777 million monthly active users.
