Robbie Savage secured a remarkable 3-1 victory in his first match as Peterborough's manager against his former club Leicester City. The win, marked by an early lead and an own goal from Leicester, showcased Savage's bold coaching style and his ability to energize a struggling squad. This victory comes after a challenging start to the season for Peterborough, who had only one league win prior to this match.
Savage's managerial approach, characterized by fast and direct football, has drawn attention, especially given his controversial past as a player. His success at Peterborough could signal a shift in the team's fortunes and challenge perceptions of his coaching capabilities, as he aims to restore confidence and performance in the squad moving forward.
