A team from the Archaeological Legacy Institute and Purdue University has arrived at Nikumaroro Island to investigate a potential plane wreck linked to Amelia Earhart's 1937 disappearance. The expedition aims to examine the Taraia Object, which may be remnants of her aircraft, while also facing challenges from local wildlife and weather conditions.
