In addition, diesel prices have surged by 15 cents per litre over five days, influenced by rising global oil prices amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. This increase is expected to contribute to inflationary pressures, potentially prompting the Reserve Bank to consider an interest rate hike in the near future.
