Ratko Mladić, the Bosnian Serb general known for his role in the Srebrenica massacre, has died in prison at the age of 84. He was serving a life sentence for genocide and war crimes committed during the Bosnian War. Mladić was convicted in 2017 for orchestrating the killing of over 8,000 Muslims in 1995, marking one of the worst atrocities in Europe since World War II.
