Prime Minister Andy Burnham has justified his participation in a special episode of Gogglebox, despite criticism from opposition leader Kemi Badenoch. Burnham emphasized the importance of supporting the Stand Up To Cancer campaign and expressed his intention to bring some lightness and hope to the public through his appearance.
Badenoch questioned how Burnham could find time for such activities, suggesting that the demands of political leadership leave little room for entertainment. The Gogglebox episode is set to air on Channel 4 at 21:05 BST.
