BBC Radio 2 presenter Owain Wyn Evans has shared his concerns about an upcoming 400-mile cycling challenge for Children in Need, stating he feels unprepared. The journey will take him through all four nations of the UK, starting in Glasgow and ending in Cardiff, marking a significant fundraising effort for the station.
With only 19 days until the event, Evans has received support from sports scientist Prof Greg Whyte, who previously assisted fellow presenter Sara Cox in her marathon challenge. Cox encouraged him to focus on daily progress despite unpredictable weather conditions.
As the challenge approaches, keep an eye on Evans' training updates and any weather forecasts that could impact his route. His journey not only raises funds but also highlights the importance of mental resilience in facing daunting tasks. Supporters can track his progress live.
