MK Dons and Luton Town will face each other for the first time since 2004 in a League One match on Saturday. The rivalry is fueled by historical resentment from Luton fans regarding the controversial relocation of Wimbledon to Milton Keynes in 2003, which many view as a betrayal of community values in football.
Despite the proximity of the two clubs, their paths have diverged due to varying fortunes in promotions and relegations. Over 6,000 Luton fans are expected to attend the match, although some have chosen to boycott spending money at the stadium.
