Jamie Miller has made history by becoming the first Welsh artist to reach the UK singles chart's top position in 15 years with his hit 'Babydoll.' This marks a significant milestone, as he is also the first solo male Welsh artist to achieve this since 1985. The song gained popularity through TikTok, particularly after actress Jennifer Love Hewitt shared videos featuring it.
Released in August, 'Babydoll' has not only topped the UK charts but also reached number one on the US iTunes pop chart, showcasing its international appeal. Miller's journey in music has been tumultuous, having considered quitting earlier this year, but he is now looking forward to touring and sharing his new album.
Jamie Miller's success with 'Babydoll' highlights the growing influence of social media on music trends. As he prepares for his upcoming tour and album release, fans should keep an eye on how this momentum shapes his career and the potential collaborations that may arise.
