Hearts faced a significant loss against Celtic, conceding seven goals in a match that highlighted individual errors among players. Manager Wouter Vrancken attributed the defeat to these mistakes rather than tactical issues, emphasizing the need for players to learn and move on quickly. Despite a promising start to the season, this performance raises concerns about the team's defensive strategies and overall accountability.
Critics, including former players, noted that Hearts struggled to adapt their approach against a dominant Celtic side, suggesting that Vrancken may need to reassess his tactics to avoid similar outcomes in future matches. The defeat has sparked discussions about the team's direction and the potential need for a more flexible game plan.
Hearts must address their defensive frailties and adapt their tactics moving forward. Fans should watch for potential changes in Vrancken's approach in upcoming matches, as the team needs to regain confidence and accountability to avoid further heavy defeats.
