Greggs has reported a 7.2% increase in total sales, reaching over £1.1 billion for the first half of the year, with pre-tax profits rising to £76 million. CEO Roisin Currie noted that the rise of weight-loss drugs has influenced consumer preferences for smaller portions. Despite plans for expansion, Greggs is cautious about potential profit impacts from supply chain investments, while maintaining stable pricing for its offerings.
