Google has launched its Universal Cart, an AI-driven shopping tool designed to streamline online shopping. This feature allows users to save products from various retailers in one cart, accessible via the Gemini app and Google Search, enhancing organization and potential savings during the busy holiday shopping period.
The Universal Cart will notify users of price drops and restocks, and it can suggest promotional codes. Future integrations with Gmail and YouTube are planned, although no timeline has been provided. This launch comes amid increasing competition in AI-assisted shopping.
