The cast of the popular sitcom Ghosts is returning with a new film titled Ghosts: The Possession of Button House, following the show's conclusion in December 2023. The film explores a plot involving an escaped phantom and features the original cast alongside new characters, maintaining the show's signature blend of humor and emotion.
Co-creator Mathew Baynton noted that the team initially had no plans to continue after the series ended, but their desire to work together again led to the film's development. While the film serves as a continuation, it also reflects the strong camaraderie among the cast and creators.
