South Carolina's backup quarterback, Cutter Woods, has been given more first-team snaps this week, indicating the coaching staff's readiness to consider a change at the quarterback position. Starting QB LaNorris Sellers has faced challenges, completing only 62.1% of his passes this season, with a notable number of interceptions.
The Gamecocks, currently 2-2 and 0-2 in the SEC, are looking to improve their passing game as they prepare for a home game against Kentucky. Sellers has shown promise in the run game but needs to enhance his passing performance to maintain his starting role.
Watch for Cutter Woods' performance if he takes the field against Kentucky. His ability to adapt to the starting role could reshape the Gamecocks' offensive strategy. Sellers must improve his passing to secure his position, as the team seeks to enhance its SEC standing.
