Jaxon, a five-year-old from the West Midlands, received a young person's award for his bravery after he called 999 when his mother suffered a medical emergency. His quick thinking and ability to provide their address allowed first responders to arrive promptly and assist his mother.

The award was presented by Chief Constable Jen Mattinson during a police awards evening. In addition to the award, Jaxon was surprised with a bike and given the opportunity to explore a police van, highlighting the importance of educating children about emergency services.
