Wales head coach Steve Tandy remains optimistic about Taulupe Faletau's chances of participating in his fourth World Cup, despite the player being omitted from the Nations Championship squad. Faletau, who recently returned from injury, showcased his skills in a match against Northampton but has not played for Wales since 2025.
Tandy acknowledges Faletau's competitive spirit and ambition to represent Wales again. However, he emphasizes the need for Faletau to demonstrate consistent performance and durability to be considered for the upcoming tournament in Australia.
