Ed Sheeran's recent concert in Atlanta featured Isaac Slade, the former lead singer of The Fray, who performed several songs after Sheeran's opening acts withdrew from the tour. Slade, who left The Fray in 2022 for mental health reasons, also addressed the ongoing conflict in Gaza during his performance.
The withdrawal of Sheeran's opening acts followed controversy surrounding rapper Macklemore's pro-Palestine comments at previous shows. Sheeran had previously expressed his dismay over the Israel-Palestine situation and canceled two shows at Gillette Stadium last weekend.
