Amazon MGM has announced a holiday 2027 release for 'Lizard Music,' directed by Benny Safdie. The film is based on Daniel Pinkwater's novel, with Safdie also writing the script. This adaptation marks a notable collaboration between the filmmaker and the popular actor Dwayne Johnson.
The project highlights a growing trend in the film industry where adaptations of literary works are increasingly being pursued, particularly those with unique narratives. The involvement of high-profile talent like Johnson and Safdie may attract significant attention to the film upon its release.
