Jersey Airport faced significant disruptions due to unauthorized drone activity, leading to the cancellation of all late evening flights for the second consecutive night. The States of Jersey Police are investigating the incidents, with reports suggesting that two or three drones entered restricted airspace, though they are not believed to be linked to terrorism.
Frustration among travelers and taxi drivers is growing as the disruptions continue. The Chief Minister emphasized the seriousness of operating drones near airports, warning that those responsible could face legal consequences.
