In the latest episode of Dancing With the Stars, themed Horror Movie Night, two couples were eliminated after receiving the lowest scores over the past two weeks. Jackson Olson and Emma Slater, along with Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess, were sent home despite a strong performance from Olson, who scored a season-high 35 for their contemporary dance.
Guest judge Shirley Ballas presided over the evening, which also marked the return of Val Chmerkovskiy after a one-week suspension. The show is reviewing its lift rules following recent controversies involving judge Carrie Ann Inaba and dancer Jenna Johnson.
With the elimination of Olson and Cameron, viewers should watch for how the remaining couples adapt to the evolving lift rules and the potential impact on their performances. The return of Chmerkovskiy adds a new dynamic, making future episodes even more unpredictable.
