Constance Zimmer has shared her personal experience with breast cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In an Instagram post, she recounted her diagnosis of DCIS, or Stage 0 breast cancer, and the emotional challenges she faced while managing her treatment privately amid public engagements for her Hulu series, Love Story.
Zimmer underwent three surgeries to preserve her breast and followed up with radiation therapy. Despite the difficulties, she expressed gratitude for the support she received and is now in a better place, highlighting the importance of patient-centered care in treatment decisions.
