A New Mexico judge has dismissed child sex abuse charges against actor Timothy Busfield, citing prosecutorial misconduct. The actor, known for his roles in 'The West Wing' and 'Field of Dreams,' faced four counts of criminal sexual contact with minors, stemming from allegations by child actors he worked with on 'The Cleaning Lady.' Busfield has denied all accusations.
The judge's ruling pointed to significant errors in the grand jury process. The district attorney's office is currently assessing its options for potential further action following the dismissal.
