Cate McHugh has made history as the first Welsh winner of The Voice UK, claiming the title on Saturday night. Her journey began with busking in Cardiff and was guided by mentor Sir Tom Jones, who emphasized the importance of storytelling in her performances.
At 32, McHugh reflects on her early aspirations inspired by Taylor Swift and her determination to succeed despite losing her sight at 22. She is now preparing to release her first original song, marking a new chapter in her music career.
