Dominic Calvert-Lewin is poised to sign a new contract with Leeds United, extending his stay at the club. The England striker has scored 20 goals in 49 appearances since joining on a free transfer from Everton.
This development is significant for Manchester United, who had been considering Calvert-Lewin as a potential signing in January, especially after losing forward Benjamin Sesko to injury for an extended period.
Calvert-Lewin's contract extension could impact Manchester United's transfer strategy as they seek to bolster their attacking options. With the January window approaching, the focus will shift to how United adapts to this setback and whether they explore alternative targets.
