Bumble has decided to eliminate its signature rule that allowed only women to initiate conversations with matches. This change follows a trial indicating increased user engagement and a survey revealing that 66% of women prefer men to send the first message. Additionally, the app will extend the time limit for users to start messaging from 24 hours to three days after matching.
