Bose has introduced a new pair of wired earbuds featuring active noise cancellation (ANC) and a USB-C connection. This marks a notable shift as wired earbuds have seen a resurgence in popularity after years of decline, particularly among younger consumers. The earbuds are designed to offer a reliable audio experience without the need for batteries, making them a practical choice for many users.
The new model, priced at $99, provides solid sound quality and comfort, with features like high-resolution audio support and an in-line remote for easy control. However, challenges such as cable noise and wind interference during calls remain, indicating that while wired options are gaining traction, they still face limitations compared to their wireless counterparts.
