He was questioned by officials but denied being arrested, stating he surrendered the weapon due to a lack of proper documentation for its importation.
Ecclestone, who led F1 for nearly 40 years, mentioned that he had previously transported the shotgun without issues. This incident follows a previous encounter in Brazil where he faced legal trouble for carrying a firearm without authorization.
