Aston Villa continues to show interest in Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin, with expectations that he may move to the Premier League next year. This follows Rangers' rejection of a £12 million bid from Hull City during the summer transfer window.
Celtic's manager Martin O'Neill plans to switch back to a four-man defense for their upcoming match against Motherwell, moving away from the back three used in the recent Old Firm derby, which was a tactical response to match Rangers' formation.
Watch for Aston Villa's potential move for Raskin as they seek to bolster their midfield. With Celtic's tactical shift, the impact on player performances could influence transfer decisions. Keep an eye on Raskin's form and any developments in the January window.
