Apple is preparing for its 'Pro and Tell' event on October 28 at 1 PM ET in Los Angeles, focusing on the MacBook Pro. Anticipated announcements include a touchscreen MacBook Pro and an OLED iPad Mini, alongside potential updates to the M6 chip across various devices. The new MacBook is expected to feature a Dynamic Island and a slight redesign, although it may come with a price increase due to component shortages.
The event marks a significant moment for Apple as it introduces its first touchscreen and OLED laptops. The iMac is also expected to receive an M6 update, while the OLED iPad Mini could signal a shift in Apple's tablet lineup, despite the anticipated increase in cost for the new model.
