The breach, which occurred between July 29 and August 1, could have exposed names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
Valve has warned users to be cautious of potential phishing attempts that may arise as a result of the breach. While customer account data and payment information remain secure, users are advised to treat any unsolicited communications claiming to be from Steam or related services as fraudulent.
