A drone strike by Ukraine on Nizhnekamsk in Russia's Tatarstan region resulted in 12 fatalities and 39 injuries, according to Russian officials. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy linked these attacks on oil refining facilities to increasing pressure on Moscow amid ongoing conflict.
Zelenskyy also noted a significant rise in the deployment of North Korean soldiers to Russia, now estimated at 50,000, and called for South Korean support for Ukraine’s air defense. Meanwhile, a Russian strike in Ukraine's Kharkiv region killed five people, highlighting the ongoing violence in the region.
