Three Afghan nationals have been sentenced for raping a 17-year-old girl in Bristol, following their arrest by French police while trying to escape the UK in a lorry. Awal Ahmadzai received a nine-year sentence, while Salman Habibkheil and Mehrab Safi were sentenced to 15 years and nine years, respectively, at Bristol Crown Court.
