ScrollEd, a startup based in Palo Alto, is introducing an innovative app that converts traditional text files, such as textbooks and PDFs, into a scrolling format similar to TikTok or Instagram Reels. This approach aims to engage students who prefer short-form content by presenting educational material through AI-generated videos, audio, and interactive quizzes.
The startup, co-founded by Utsav Gupta and Rebecca Neff, is targeting educational institutions and corporate training programs. ScrollEd plans to launch its consumer business at the TechCrunch Disrupt event, focusing on building a lesson library and developing tools for personalized learning experiences.
