Physicl has raised $10 million in seed funding from Inovia Capital to improve the training of robots through realistic simulations. The startup aims to bridge the gap between digital and physical environments by utilizing a pipeline developed from its previous work in creating 3D models for online retail.
The company plans to launch a product called Studio, which will offer 10,000 3D environments and 100,000 assets for generating synthetic training data. This initiative targets the challenges faced by researchers in training robots to handle complex tasks in real-world scenarios.
