An Epiphone guitar once owned by Noel Gallagher sold for £12,000 at auction, part of a collection from Huw Richards, a former sound engineer for Oasis. The limited edition instrument, made in 1997 and believed to be one of five gifted to Gallagher, was among various memorabilia that included a Kangol rain jacket and framed platinum discs from the band's iconic album.
The auction also featured other notable items, such as early Oasis demo tapes and concert tickets. However, a baby grand piano associated with the band's artwork did not sell, highlighting the fluctuating interest in music memorabilia and the impact of ongoing legal disputes over unreleased recordings from the band.
