In Week 5 of the NFL season, the New York Jets secured a 17-12 victory over the Cleveland Browns, with standout performances from Braelon Allen and Garrett Wilson. Following their win, the Jets humorously trolled the Browns on social media by posting an image of Cleveland Brown from 'Family Guy' dressed in Jets gear.
Other teams also engaged in playful trolling, including the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, who celebrated their wins with clever social media posts referencing popular culture and game highlights.
As teams ramp up their social media antics, fans should keep an eye on how this playful rivalry influences team culture and fan engagement. Watch for more creative trolling as the season progresses, especially during key matchups that heighten stakes and emotions.
