Engineers have successfully removed the masts from the SS Richard Montgomery, a WWII cargo ship that sank in 1944 with around 1,400 tonnes of munitions. This operation, carried out to reduce the risk of an explosion, was completed ahead of schedule and under budget, with the masts now housed in a maritime museum.
